The Doctor

Konstantinos G. Moulakakis is a distinguished scientific figure in the field of Vascular Surgery in Greece and Europe. With deep roots in both academic and clinical training, he began his studies at the University of Patras Medical School and advanced his academic career by obtaining his PhD from the University of Athens. His specialization in Vascular Surgery at the "Red Cross" Hospital and his training at the 2nd Propedeutic Surgical Clinic laid the foundation for a steadily evolving career.

His professional path includes significant international experience at leading centers, such as Uniklinik Köln and the University of Texas in Houston, where he received advanced training in cutting-edge endovascular and open surgical techniques. Furthermore, his long-standing tenure as a Consultant at "Attikon" University Hospital has contributed to the formation of a strong clinical identity.

His research work is equally impressive, comprising more than 250 publications and significant international recognition (h-index 42). As a member of the HEVAR coordinating committee, he has actively contributed to improving the registry and management of vascular diseases in Greece, while also serving Greek scientific societies for many years in the role of Secretary. With numerous awards, scholarships, and distinctions, he continues to serve clinical practice, research, and university education with consistency and dedication.
